Uninstallation

To uninstall CAN, follow the instructions for the individual platforms, see below.

Microsoft Windows

For basic uninstallation, use the standard option Add or Remove Programs accessible from the Control Panel of Microsoft Windows. It is then necessary to manually remove the following files:

• User settings file: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\TESCO SW\Crypto Native App NG\{architecture (x86 or x64)}\users-settings.json
• Log file: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\TESCO SW\Crypto Native App NG\{architecture (x86 or x64)}\Logs\log.txt
• PKCS#11 driver settings file: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\TESCO SW\Crypto Native App NG\{architecture (x86 or x64)}\drivers.json

Apple macOS

For basic uninstallation, use the Uninstall Crypto Native App NG.app application from the folder /Applications/Crypto Native App NG (installation for all users), or ~/Applications/Crypto Native App NG (user-specific installation). It is then necessary to manually remove the following files:

• User settings file: ~/Library/Application Support/TESCO SW/Crypto Native App NG/users-settings.json
• Log file: ~/Library/Logs/TESCO SW/Crypto Native App NG/log.txt
• PKCS#11 driver settings file: ~/Library/Application Support/TESCO SW/Crypto Native App NG/drivers.json

From v26.0.20400

• User settings file: ~/Library/Containers/cz.tescosw.nativeapp.cryptong/Data/Library/Application Support/users-settings.json
• Log file: ~/Library/Containers/cz.tescosw.nativeapp.cryptong/Data/Library/Application Support/Logs/log.txt
• PKCS#11 driver settings file: ~/Library/Containers/cz.tescosw.nativeapp.cryptong/Data/Library/Application Support/drivers.json

Crypto Web Extension

To uninstall the extension in the web browser you use, follow the instructions of the respective developer:

• Google Chrome
• Microsoft Edge
• Mozilla Firefox
• Opera

CWE for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge

If the extension for Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge was installed using the CAN installer, it will be deleted automatically when uninstalling CNA.

Apple Safari

The Apple Safari browser extension can be uninstalled together with CNA via the Uninstall Crypto Native App NG.app application or by directly dragging the Crypto Web Extension.app application to the trash.
